Ballet Lab
Day & Time: Sats 2:30-4:30 PM
Location: West Side Dance Center, 3 Middlebury Blvd Randolph, NJ

Tuition: $350

Ages: 12-Adult
Description: This 8-month exclusive training class is comprised of 10 students who are selected on the basis of level, personal artistic goals, & recommendation. BE’s Ballet Lab course explores the science behind the art of movement. The course will focus on exploration of & experimentation with ideokinesis & how such concepts can enhance the execution & artistry of classical ballet technique. Students will be exposed to deep, connected stretching exercises, breathing exercises, floor barre, barre & center work.

Mind-Body Conditioning

Day & Time: Tues 6:30-7:30
Location: Investors Bank Theater, 72 Eyland Ave in Succasunna
Tuition: $180

Ages: 10-Adult. Younger students accepted based on teacher recommendation.

Description: This class is a training enhancement class that is of value to gymnasts, performing artists, mothers, & working professionals. Sculpt your body & your mind simultaneously! Students will gain greater flexibility & strength while draining the body of tension, rigid muscular patterning, stress & anxiety. Content is drawn from disciplines including yoga, pilates, ideokinesis from the Eric Franklin method, & resistance stretching.

Theater
Day & Time: Mons 6-7:30
Location: Investors Bank Theater, 72 Eyland Ave in  Succasunna
Tuition: $270

Ages: 12-Adult

Description: Students will pursue an in-depth study of classical drama & will hone their skills as actresses/actors. They will develop skills that cultivate well-rounded acting ability including: improvisation; voice projection; understanding motivation & interpretation of characters;   monologue work; scene study; career preparation in theater. 

Dancing for Thespians
Day & Time: Tues 5:30-6:30
Location: Investors Bank Theater, 72 Eyland Ave in Succasunna

Tuition: $180

Ages: 10-Adult
Description: This class is designed to make actors and actresses more comfortable with basic dance movement, posture, & carriage of the body.

Acrobatic Dance
Day & Time: Thurs 5:30-6:30

Location: Gymnastics Inc, 80 North Dell Ave in Kenvil

Tuition: $180

Ages: 8 and up; younger students may be accepted on the basis of teacher recommendation
Description: Enjoy the exhilarating fusion of dance & acrobatic movement! Students will gain better strength, coordination, control, & achieve more versatility as performers through a challenging movement class. Pl note that this is not an introductory acrobatic class; students should have proficiency with fundamental acrobatic concepts, including handstands, walkovers, cartwheels, tick-tocks, & limbers. Spotting will not be provided & use of mats will be limited. 

Ballet 101
Day & Time: Thurs 6:30-8:00

Location: Gymnastics Inc, 80 North Dell Ave in Kenvil

Tuition: $270

Ages: 10-Adult
Description: Students will learn formal, academic ballet in a challenging, yet humanistic envirionment. 

Independent Study (Ballet & Acrobatic Dance)
Day & Time: Sats & Suns

Location: West Side Dance Center, 3 Middlebury Blvd Randolph, NJ

Tuition: $65/hr; $90 for 1.5 hrs; $120 for 2 hrs

Ages: 8 and up
Description: The student will receive in-depth intensive instruction for maximizing progress based on continuing input & feedback from the student concerning her goals, concerns & objectives. An initial assessment & post-study evaluation are included.

Enrollment Specifications:
•    Students who enroll in more than 1 class may receive a 15% discount off the less expensive class
•    Minimum enrollment for each class is 4 students;  classes are capped at 10 students.
•    Standard ballet attire (leotard, tights, ballet shoes) required for ballet classes; hair in bun
